Traffic in Floripa can be congested as the island has few major roads, so cabs and public buses can take more time at peak hours. Consider renting a scooter to get around more efficiently.
Florianópolis has a temperate oceanic climate with mild winters and warm, humid summers. It's worth noting that while the beach days are glorious, the city also experiences its fair share of rain throughout the year.
