Queer Surf Month in Sayulita

Sayulita, Mexico

Get ready for sun, surf, and being your authentic self! We’re teaming up with WiFi Tribe and Gay Surf Week to bring you Queer Surf Month—a first-of-its-kind, month-long coworking and coliving retreat in the laid-back beach town of Sayulita, Mexico.

Work remotely while soaking up the coastal vibes. Start your mornings with surf sessions, power through work sprints in a supportive queer community, and end your days with sunset hangs and meaningful connections. Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or just starting, this experience is designed to bring together LGBTQ+ individuals and allies for a month of adventure, productivity, and community bonding.

In collaboration with:

Wifi Tribe organizes global coliving and coworking trips for digital nomads, curating an inclusive community of explorers and adventurers who are all redefining the face of work while exploring the globe together.

Gay Surf Week carves out a much-needed space in the hyper-hetero culture of surfing to encourage queer surfers and adventurers. Gay Surf Week is excited to partner with WiFi Tribe and Find Your Tribe to expand it's offering and further celebrate queer identities and remote professionals.

Stroll Through Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is full of charm, with lush jungle hills, hidden waterfalls, hiking trails, and pristine beaches. It’s a queer-friendly destination where you can enjoy sunset margaritas and a relaxed vibe while soaking up the beauty of this coastal gem.

Chill By Day, Celebrate By Night

Spend your days unwinding in the sun and your nights dancing away. The sunset parties at Majahuitas Beach—only reachable by boat—offer an exclusive spot to relax, celebrate, and connect with your queer community under the stars.

Explore Charming Beach Towns

San Pancho and Lo de Marcos are perfect for a beach hop. These picturesque towns, with their cobblestone streets, pastel sunsets, and laid-back charm, make for a relaxing escape where queer travelers can feel right at home.

Whale and Dolphin Watching in Sayulita

Sayulita is a prime spot for spotting whales and dolphins. This rich marine area offers stunning wildlife experiences that you can enjoy with your Tribe—making it the perfect opportunity to bond with nature and your queer community.

The Mexican Galapagos

Beyond Playa del Amor, explore hidden beaches, ocean caves, rock formations, and tunnels. This beautiful area offers breathtaking scenery and diverse marine life, a paradise for adventurers seeking a mix of exploration and relaxation.

Adventure in Mascota’s Mountains

Trade the beach for the mountains and head to Mascota, a destination filled with hiking, fishing, waterfall chasing, and horseback riding. It’s an amazing outdoor spot to explore with the queer tribe and enjoy Mexico's natural beauty.

Our Homes

Our coliving homes are in prime locations, just a five-minute walk from each other. One of our properties features a spacious top-floor area with A/C, which we’ll be transforming into a dedicated coworking space and chill lounge—a perfect spot to stay productive or unwind after a day in the sun.

Good to Know

While we offer fast internet speeds of 100+mbps at our accommodation, be aware that other parts of the town may have slower connections (2-8mbps). Occasionally, electricity, internet, or cell service outages can affect the entire area, lasting anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. In case of an outage, mobile internet backup is available.

Sayulita is a small town with narrow streets, so walking or renting a bike is often the best way to get around. If you're coming from the airport, taxis or shuttle services are available, but it's easy to navigate the town on foot.

Sayulita is a pet-friendly town, so you might encounter dogs roaming freely, hear the occasional bark, or even meet a parrot! It's a lively, animal-filled community where roosters may provide a natural alarm clock in the morning.
